imdesi is an independent deals, coupon code and price-comparison website for the South Asian community in Canada and the United States — Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan and Nepali shoppers and their families.
What we do
We track the things our community actually spends money on and publish the best prices we can find, in one place:
- Deals and coupon codes from stores we partner with directly or through affiliate networks — checked before we list them, and removed automatically when they expire.
- Flights to South Asia — fare sales to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal from Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, New York, Chicago, Houston and other North American airports.
- Sending money home — side-by-side fees and exchange rates for transfers to India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
- Price comparisons — the same product across several stores, sorted with the lowest price first.
- Guides — Indian grocery shopping, festival and wedding shopping, and the practical side of building a life here.
How we pick what to publish
- We check that a deal or code works, and note the date we checked it.
- We compare against the regular price, not an inflated “was” price.
- We say when something is only available in Canada or only in the US.
- If a deal stops working, we take it down. You can tell us about expired codes on our contact page.
How imdesi makes money
imdesi is free to use. When you buy through some of our links, the store may pay us a small commission. That never changes the price you pay, and stores cannot pay to be ranked higher in a comparison. The full details are in our affiliate disclosure.
